After working a while with defaults, I answered the question for me with no and customized the whole thing, which took quite a while to find and assign the most confortable and efficicient setup for me and, as mentioned, that was with the original Contour software on Windows. Any help or suggestions specific to using the Contour Shuttle Pro V2 with Lightworks would be greatly appreciated. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, changing settings, priorities, and permissions, but Im still unable to resolve the issue. You should invest some thoughts if the default Lightworks assignments of the Shuttle is what you would like to works with. Interestingly, I tried using the Contour Shuttle Pro V2 with Audacity and it worked fine. The alloy inner ring or 'shuttle' has 3 'dimples' for fingertip control and rotates smoothly and continuously through 360°, with distinct tactile detents. If true the first thing to do is to create a preset for Lightworks with the Lander software. This device features a low-profile ambidextrous design that facilitates one-hand access to the fifteen (15) fully programmable buttons, the inner Shuttle dial and the outer Jog wheel. I haven't found anything similar with Lander. prefs file is configured accordding to this preset. The original Contour software comes with a prest for Lightworks and the associated. The blade can be advanced in 1/2 segment increments for precision control. In other words: You need to manage two lists of key assignments, one for the Lander, one for Lightworks. After a look at its user guide, that seems to be the same with the Shuttle Lander. Today were taking a look at a couple really neat products - the ShuttlePro V2 and the Shuttle Express from Contour Design. Our second recommendation is the Contour Shuttle Pro V2, and yes, we are sheepishly aware that were recommending a bit of kit that, strictly speaking, isnt a mouse.Still, we have good reason to do so. The challenge is, even with the regular Contour driver on Windows, the driver has it's own customizable key assignments. I lost some of the button covers from my Shuttle PRO v2. prefs file is nothing else than a list of key asignments which you can fully customize and save from within Lightworks. ![]() It isn't very likely that anybody active on this forum uses the Shuttle Lander with Lightworks.
